I had a classmate in colllege that was from africa... The stories she told me were really horrific stuff.... She said that she lived in a house with barb wire around the top of the walls... Because of the amount of theft that goes on there.... And it was pretty much the norm to see walls with barb wire and security around the neighborhood... Also if you drive in the city you keep your door locked at all times... because car jacking is a regular occurance... Made me reconsider going there almost instantly... Outz, WildCard

we actualy had glass shards that were embeded in the cement on the top of the walls....no barbed wire... I thikn we did keep the doors locked in some places.. And we had bars on the windows, a gate at the edge of our property that we would lock every night, bars on the doors with 2 big pad locks each, then all the locks on the door as well.
We had a little cabane beside the house that help just old papers, and old files, maybe a projector or two..it would get broken into like every week, but there wasn't anything in there so we didn't care.
We had a large container in our yard that stored extra car tires, lawnmower, and a chainsaw I think.....that got stolen.... we hired some old guy who said he was a watch guard so he would sit in the garage at night.....it was funny cause our dog food bag would go down fairly quickly after hiring this guy....and what's even funnier is that we didn't have a dog!!!.... But apart from that, we could go buy fire crackers and kit kats down at the "downtown" area....stores and merchants. That was in Zambia....
I also lived in Gabon, the tropical rain forest. It was much more fun over there. But it was more in the bush, we had a cement house but with only screens, and a big wooden shutter that we would close at night. I think I got a bag of chips on one of my birthdays....it cost $10US. it came from France.....lol, my mom said never agian!! No TV, No fences, we did our home schooling and went wherever outside after that.....

Can you say that in German? Perhaps Russian?
Or do you simply mean you're a chicken shit that wouldn't do what could be done to protect their vehicle and $10,000 investment?
'Cause I gotta say, to soon-to-be-19-year-old me, that's a shit load of money.

Um.... is ur life worth it? Don't you have insurance. I have a $30,000 vehicle and if someone really wanted it, fine! Take it, 'cuz it aint worth my life! You can always get another car. Can you get another life?

Ok, so you actually think someone would get into your car?
Lol...
Cut the wheel away from 'em, step on the gas, goodbye carjacker... Throw it in reverse, go forward. There are a dozen things you could do depending on the traffic that would get you free and clear.

First off seal... I'm fifteen and planning on not using a car until I can actually afford buying one cash (and afford losing it too)
Second... Your mean.
And third... I have a habit of locking every door in a car/truck/van everytime I enter one.

I lock all the doors too... I was able to afford my Jeep cash... I payed seven thousand dollars for it, and I've added quite a bit to it. Keep in mind I said "what could be done"... The first step in reacting to any situation is acessment. I'm not going to carry out some suicidal action, but I'll do what I know I can if I know it's possible.
I am mean, and I don't appreciate when people make nasty comments about my country, I don't see people shit talking other countries in the thread, no need to start, especially for no reason.
