Hey, I've been looking for a good PC based auto racing game that:
1) Is Multiplayer compatible (preferably online and over lan, but over lan is the only essential part)
2) preferably permits the "souping up" and/or customizing of cars
3) Preferably (I know this is pretty generic) allows the use of a steering wheel/pedals.
Know of any?

An you can play over lan? I saw it said you couldplay online.. but didn't see anything about LAN.
Also, what kinda upgrades can you do.. exhaust, nos, rims, ground effects and shit?

Yes, there is actually a button for LAN in the game, I was a bit surprised when I saw it...
Upgrades... Jesus, what can't you upgrade? If you can think of it, you can change it....

Yeah, GT4 should be AMAZING... Hopefully they stop playing shell games...
NFSU2 is lots of fun, the physics are quite good (I've spun cars in real life), but I don't like having to "pimp out" cars to advance in the game. When I get un-lazy I'll show you my preference.

I took the civic lol..... I'm playing it on easy so there's not much chalenge. The best I think is getting the Pontiac GTO and "souping" it up  and listening to it idle......NICE!!! heh heh The audi TT is nice too. I havn't gotten to any trunk setups yet, only basic ones. Soon I hope.' I really want lvl 3 upgrades too!!!! |

Do you need a race wheel or any special controller? or is it still fun on keyboard/mouse?
